How To Choose The Right Item Upgrade Online

Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can increase the performance of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations used.

For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb capability in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens permit you to roll a purchased item such as an armor, weapon or ring. This allows you to swap the item for a different one of the same type, with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item and any resources that are wasted aren't refunded.

Survivors may acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or bought from the market at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute on an item that could include increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.

Players can roll their equipment into three categories that include physical power, magical power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage done by weapons and melee attacks while spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher quality and requires an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require items that are either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The marker for rerolling, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action areas, remains on the space until the next Success is being rerolled. This helps to prevent the waste of upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of each Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they show an explanation and icon for the appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop can exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes which blueprints the restaurant's shop has available to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that can increase the level of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by completing daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players must first locate the item then click the "level up button". The menu will appear showing the item's current level and what it will be after being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. Once the requirements are satisfied, the user can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be upgraded in level by a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could take anywhere from seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process is risk-free and doesn't affect the item's durability. This makes it an excellent way for players to gain an advantage in combat without putting stress on their bank accounts. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and advancement of an upgraded item to new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for players who are new to the game. There are many ways to obtain them. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Additionally, players can take apart higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the effectiveness of weapons and armor.  item upgrading  can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It's done by the combination of an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be used up and the item will gain an upgrade to a higher level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item has been attained.

Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be added to more than one item at the same time. Additionally each upgrade component will require a particular number of items to be applied, as well as a minimum amount for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item to be upgraded. On the right, previews show what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once is a player has enough resources will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time it is upgraded the stats of the base item will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.

When an item reaches its maximum level, its upgrades are no longer available to it. Also, when an item reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to provide an additional bonus or effect when the equipment is equipped. They can be bought through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will damage the previous upgrade, except for glyphs, which can be replaced and removed at any time.

Requirements

Upgrades to items allow players to boost certain stats of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the kind of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

Upgrades to items can be slotted into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide extra effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained through a variety of sources in the game, including through crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been placed into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components have additional modifiers that could further increase the stats of an item.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense and provides an additional 20% chance to block. Additionally, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.

Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve the perfect roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by melee PvP communities and can be worth up to 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.

The game will display the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

Once you've met the required requirements for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will update to indicate how close to completing it. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
